The Mini PC market is exploding right now with new product offerings showing up seeming every week. Today we take a look at the Vensmile i10 Mini PC.
The Vensmile i10 Mini PC is powered by the popular and quite peppy Intel Atom Z3735F Bay Trail CPU processor. This is a 4 core (Quad core) processor that clocks in at a base frequency of 1.33GHz, and a burst frequency of 1.83GHz. It has a built in Intel HD Graphics chip that runs at 311MHz. The OS running on this is Windows 10 which is a great option for many people because many people want to have a small form factor computer running Windows 10.
Also wrapped up in the cylindrical case is 2GB of DDR3 RAM, and 32GB of eMMC Flash for local storage. If that isn’t enough for you though you’ll be happy to know that it comes with a TF card slot, and 4 USB 2.0 slots. Around the back is also an Ethernet port (RJ45), HDMI, headphone jack, and power adapter port.
The Broadcom 6330 WiFi module that’s built in will allow you to connect to the internet wirelessly over 802.11 a/b/g/n which includes dual band 2.4GHz and 5GHz. If you have any Bluetooth enabled devices you will be able to connect them to the Vensmile i10 over Bluetooth 4.0.
Around the front there is the power button, a built in microphone, and a 2MP webcam. The microphone is a nice addition but I’m not sure the webcam is all that useful. The location of the mini pc will probably make it awkward for you to be seen on the webcam as it’s quite short and you may need to put the i10 high up on something so that it’s at face level which could be awkward.
Best of all the Vensmile i10 Mini PC comes with active cooling as you can see above. It allows the CPU, RAM and flash storage to be cooled down but the massive aluminum heatsink and fan. This will improve performance greatly while you are playing games or watching media.
