I love Plex for many reasons and have purchased PlexPass already. If you want to, do it quickly as they’re raising their prices. If you were on the fence about getting PlexPass I would look at it a bit harder and decide soon as they’re raising their prices quite a bit.
So on September 29, 2014 we’ll be making some changes to our Plex Pass subscription rates for new subscribers:
- Monthly Plex Pass subscriptions will increase from $3.99 $4.99 per month.
- Annual Plex Pass subscriptions will increase from $29.99 to $39.99 per year.
- Lifetime Plex Passes will increase from $74.99 to $149.99.

I personally enjoy Plex a lot. I use it in conjunction with XBMC and have a dedicated service with Plex so I can share stuff with a bunch of family members.
