The Android M8 Quad Core Mini PC TV Box is a powerful little box. I’ve spent the past few days using it in place of my current htpc. Take a peek at my review.
My first impressions of the Android M8 Mini PC are great. The Android media centre boxes are becoming more and more popular and people are realizing the potential. They’re low powered, quick booting, and easy to use.
This Amlogic S802 processor powering this little box provides the punch it needs to power through everything I have. I played everything from mp4, avi and mkv files in XBMC. Even blu-ray remux files that are very high bitrate and use DTS audio.
Take a look at the interface and apps included.
Android M8 Quad Core Mini PC TV Box Review
The M8 is a great performer when it comes to being a media player. It chugs through every video I could throw at it without skipping a beat. The user interface is alright, not that great but it gets the job done. I like the shortcut bar at the bottom but overall feels a little childish. The remote isn’t all that great either.
It’s a solid device and with some updates to the firmware can be a really great little media center.
